Couples Therapy
My couples therapy service provides a supportive and impartial space for partners to explore their relationship together. I work with both individuals to ensure each voice is heard and respected, helping you to better understand one another’s experiences, emotions, and needs.

Couples may come to counselling to address communication difficulties, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, or strengthen their connection. Sessions are shaped by what matters most to you as a couple, fostering openness, understanding, and the potential for positive change.
What to expect......

As with individual counselling, couple’s sessions are also tailored specifically to you, however they are more directive. They may involve us carrying out some specific work together during the session, or you may be asked to try certain practises at home.
As with individual counselling, we will make an agreement about how we will all work together going forward, so that all parties are aware of what is required from them. This will help support confidentiality and safety for you as a couple, as well as a foundation on which to grow.

You will always be treated as two equal individuals, where both parties will be heard and respected. It is not my role as a couples therapist to ‘take sides’. I will give you the opportunity to hear each other, grow a deeper understanding of yourself and each other and hopefully learn new ways to approach your relationship.
